Dedicated to the advancement of public health practice in small islands
Focussing on the special health needs of small island communities
The Isle of Man is hosting the 26th Inter Island Public Health Forum Conference from 23 - 26 June 2020. Bookings are now open.
The Inter Island Public Health Forum (IIPHF) is a loose association of health professionals with an interest in the special health needs of small island communities. It has been in existence since 1993.
Professions represented include public health doctors, environmental health officers, health promotion specialists and many other health-related disciplines.
We come together in the belief that circumstances affecting health in small island communities are frequently universal and therefore opportunities for shared learning and innovation must always exist. The Forum arranges conferences periodically in different island locations.
Although the Forum is dedicated to the advancement of public health practice in small islands, it is open to anyone interested in its work – it is not limited to islanders!
